Do you offer payment plan or financial assistance for puppy board and train?
We do offer financing which does not affect your credit. Email support@topk9academy.com for more information.
Where do you train?
We are a personal dog training service for Central Maryland and surrounding areas. *Including military bases. The location is provided by the client, we recommend the pups home. This in-home dog training limits distractions, decreases stress, and improves engagement.
Does my pup have to be vaccinated?
Yes, your pup should have the appropriate vaccinations for their age.

What area do you service?
We travel anywhere in central Maryland, but we don't let borders stop us from training your pup. Our dog trainers will train pups in the following counties. Also, these countries do not have to pay a travel fee.
Anne Arundel County
Prince George's County
Baltimore
Washington DC
Montgomery County
Howard County
$8 travel fee per trip, if outside of service area.
Will you teach me how you trained my pup?
Yes, you are a key part of your pup's development. You will be given all the tools you need to continue the training of your pup during the sessions.
Do I need to buy any equipment?
We will bring all the tools needed to train your dog. You’ll buy equipment based on the trainers recommendations.
Do you train services to foster or shelter dogs?
We love training shelter and foster dogs. With extra treats, patience, and love we can understand the reason behind most behavioral issues.
What style of dog training do your use?
Our style of training is bond based training. We teach the dog to think through problems. For corrections, typically, our dog trainers use leash techniques such as leash pressure, or verbal corrections (unless you choose to train with an e-collar). We will discuss what style of training you are ok with during the consultation.
What types of payment do you accept?

How many times can I reschedule?
We understand that you have busy lives, and things may happen that cause you to reschedule. However, if you reschedule more than three times (within 5 days of the session) one day will be deducted from the package. If you cancel the same day then it will count as a missed session.
